Enrollment Information
Most children turn 3 by the fall to be eligible for enrollment at Russell. Depending on enrollment, limited spots may be available for children who turn 2 years 9 months old after September 1st and are exhibiting preschool readiness.
Our admissions policy is to create classes balanced in age and gender, and to support an all-inclusive and diverse learning community, culturally, ethnically and geographically. Children range in age from 3 to 5 and may attend three, four, or five days per week. Maximum class size per day typically ranges from 15 - 18 children.

Tuition
The tuition rate for the 2023-2024 school year is $3,065 per day and annual tuition is based on the number of days per week your child attends school.
Annual Tuition 2023-2024:
3 days / week: $9,195
4 days / week: $12,260
5 days / week: $15,325
* Annual tuition increases are determined in early spring for the following fall and are typically between 1% - 3%, if at all.
Application Procedure
Parents of prospective students must tour the school and speak with the Director or a member of the Enrollment Committee before receiving an application. Tours are scheduled individually beginning in October. Families who are interested in the school may also attend one of our scheduled Visit Days. After touring the school, submit an application and $50 fee.
There are two main enrollment periods: fall enrollment (October through early December) and winter enrollment (January through early March). A third spring enrollment period (early April) will be added if needed.
Once your application is received by the school, Russell will contact you to set up a Visit Day if your child was not in attendance for your tour of the school.
Acceptance emails will be sent out within 2 weeks of your child’s school visit.
Please note: If Russell School enrollment is filled during the fall enrollment period winter applications will continue to be taken for waiting pool status.
