Enrollment Information

Children must turn three by September 1 of the fall they will be eligible for enrollment at Russell.  Limited enrollment spots may be available for children who are 2 years 9 months old by September 1st and are exhibiting preschool readiness.

Our admissions policy is to create classes balanced in age, gender and ethnicity.  Children range in age from three to five and may attend three, four, or five days per week.  There is a maximum enrollment of 20 children per day.

Parents of prospective students must tour the school and meet with a member of the enrollment committee before receiving an application.  Tours are scheduled individually beginning in October. To request a tour, e-mail info@russellpreschool.org or call (617) 926-0511.

• After touring the school, submit an application and $50 fee.

• There are two enrollment periods: fall enrollment (October through late November) and winter enrollment (December through early February). A third spring enrollment period (mid February through early April) will be added if needed.

• Once your application is received by the school, Russell will contact you to set up a Visit Day for your child.

• Acceptance letters will be mailed out within within 2 weeks of Visit Day.
